Ambitious drawings are easy to produce and hard to price. Most of the trouble in a high-end build starts with a set of plans that was never costed against what they actually cost to build, which turns the bid stage into a negotiation about what to give up.
Our order is different. Dan works alongside you and your architect while the drawings are still cheap to change, testing the design against a real budget as it develops. The details that set the finish level — timber work, glazing, stone, the cabinetry package — get priced when they are still choices rather than commitments, so the approved plan is one we can build at the number discussed.

Beyond that, the 2025 NW Natural Street of Dreams home is the credential worth weighing, because a show house is walked through by thousands of people who look hard at exactly the details that are easy to fake.
One thing worth knowing before a Bend design is finalised: freeze-thaw cycling and snow load are structural inputs here, not afterthoughts. Roof framing, footing depth, decks, and the detailing of eaves and drainage all follow from them, and building them into the drawings costs far less than engineering around them later.
The Finish
Engineered oak floors, custom oak cabinetry, quartz and granite counters, vaulted ceilings, heated floors in the primary suite, spa-style baths. Any builder can write that specification into a proposal. Whether it arrives is a question of who is on site in the final months, and whether the trim carpenter is being watched by someone who knows what a proper return looks like. That is where the difference between builders actually shows. Specifying stone is a decision; getting a mitre to close cleanly on a vaulted ceiling twenty feet up is a habit somebody has to enforce daily. Walk the portfolio and judge it for yourself.
