Residential Home Builders in Dunthorpe, OR
Kalen Development is a residential builder based in Vancouver, Washington. More than twenty years, over 100 homes across Washington and Oregon — custom builds, and full renovations. On the Oregon side, Ridgeview House and Heritage House in Happy Valley — and a home on the 2025 NW Natural Street of Dreams — show the finish level we build to.

One Builder, Whole Project
Design collaboration, construction, and the follow-through afterward — handled by the same people, with Dan Kalen on his own job sites. We sit with your architect and designer from the first sketch, so what gets drawn is what we can build, at the number we agreed on. Selections are made once, on purpose, with the whole house in mind.
How We Build
One team from foundation to final walkthrough. Schedules stay honest and communication stays direct. You deal with the people doing the work.
Building in Dunthorpe
We build across the Portland metro and have for years — the portfolio shows the range. Custom homes, full renovations, and the design and planning work that precedes both.

The portfolio is the argument — walk through the projects and judge the finish level for yourself.
